Meet the Photographer
Hi there! I'm Crystal Davies, owner of Davies Designs Studio, a design studio based in Lake Wylie, South Carolina. When I'm not chasing my daughter, I'm working with small business owners to develop their brands. I also usually have a web design project on the go. On the weekends though, you'll find me taking photos, whether it's a session or just for fun, it's a passion of mine and how I love to spend my 'down time.' I'm also a regular photography contributor to Unsplash as well. Can you tell I like to stay busy?
I specialize in outdoor / natural light family photography. I aim to make sessions fun and love to capture those fleeting moments from big hugs to super silliness! Because my life is design, I usually throw in a few bonus items - especially around the holidays.
I believe your photos are for you to share, so you won't find an elaborate portfolio on my page. I only share a few photos here and there for sneak peeks during post-processing and may use a few of those in my portfolio to show what a particular type of photography session may look like upon delivery. Our Photography Style
is to capture colorful, in-the-moment, shots. Our goal is to make each session fun. We always strive for a great family pose, especially for holiday cards, but we also understand that sometimes you just have to capture families just being a family and kids just being kids. Those, we find, are the memories you want to look back on - almost like a pause button - your snapshot in time.
