Invoices are emailed via our automated invoicing system. Once an invoice is received, you may pay by mailed check or credit/debit card via Stripe.
To ensure fairness to each of our clients, graphic design and web design services require a down payment of 50% of the total project estimate due at the beginning of each new project. The remaining balance is due 30 days from the time of project completion. Payment plans are also offered and available upon request. We apologize that we no longer accept PayPal.
WHAT IS STRIPE?
Stripe is one of the most secure and trusted methods of electronic payment and is used by Twitter, Shopify, and Pinterest - just to name a few. When we moved away from PayPal, we wanted to ensure that the new alternative was as easy to use as possible. Going forward, our electronic invoices will have a button that allows you to pay, via Stripe, with your credit or debit card. We are excited to offer this secure, reliable, and incredibly easy method of payment. Alternatively, we will still continue to accept mailed checks.
All of our designs are original Davies Designs Studio works and as such, are protected under international copyright law. PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES - WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR UPLOADING, DOWNLOADING, AND/OR SENDING HARD COPY OR DIGITAL FILES?
If needed, we will send you a link to a private folder on our website so that you can upload photos if you are interested in editing services, otherwise files can be shared via email.
If you are interested in digital restoration or repair services, we can arrange to have your photos picked up in person or by courier and returned to you once the project has been completed.
For photography sessions, all photos are delivered via an online private gallery link. You will receive an email containing the link, username, password, and download instructions.
TIMELINES & AVAILABILITY
Select photography sessions may be offered select Saturdays (weather permitting) during the Spring, Fall, and Holiday seasons. Please follow us on Facebook of Instagram to stay updated on our seasonal photography schedule.
Branding, Graphic Design, and Web Design/Social Media services typically adhere to an initial 4-5 week project development timeline during which we gather the necessary information required to begin your project, perform background research as needed, compile a detailed project agreement for your review and signature, and accept necessary down payments/deposits prior to the start of the design process once the agreement has been signed by both parties.
Further timing is dependent on the individual project, complexity, number of revisions, client response timeliness, and current workload.
WEB DESIGN PLATFORM
Our web design platform of choice is Wix. We are a certified Wix Partner and use Wix for our own website. We have chosen them as our preferred vendor for a variety of reasons including that they are the only web design platform that allows a configurable mobile view while keeping web design costs reasonable for clients. Their ability to stay ahead of in-demand web design trends and their variety of plug-ins for areas such as social media, blogging, and online store setup easily meets the requirements most commonly requested by our clients.
WORKSHOPS & SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS
We love to do educational workshops and consults with growing businesses with regards to branding, brand guidance, and art direction. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
Project Agreements are drafted, sent for review, and signed by both parties. Signatures are considered acceptance of these terms. Once signed, your first invoice will be emailed to you.
ARE YOU WILLING TO SIGN AN NDA (NON-DISCLOSURE AGREEMENT)?
Absolutely! All project work and photography is considered confidential as our portfolio promise to you and we want all of our clients to be absolutely comfortable that unless you have received a written request from us, that your materials are 100% confidential.
CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
Although we always welcome new work and new clients, we must honor our existing client agreements first and foremost, so we reserve the right to refuse service at any time if the working relationship poses a known and/or recognizable conflict of interest.
GETTING STARTED WITH BRANDING & MARKETING STRATEGY

The first step we take is to evaluate where your business currently stands; Do you have a logo? Do you have a website? Do you already utilize social media? Once we have a branding and marketing strategy in place, we can then launch the brand identity phase. Once finalized, the logo and branding can then be applied to all materials used to communicate with your customers, prospects, influencers, and employees. This includes marketing collateral such as stationery, capabilities materials, websites, signage, catalogs, and more.
